In this episode of Silicon Grapevine, Untether AI CEO Chris Walker reflects on his 30-year career at Intel and why he came out of retirement to lead an AI startup. Having interned at Intel, Chris got his first job out of college with Intel and stayed there, in multiple roles, until his retirement in 2022. He highlights his achievements, the rich experience gained from working in Asia and his learnings from key people at Intel, including Andy Grove and Craig Barrett. Having been born in Florida, he’s had a lifelong passion for the water, too, and has been sailing both leisurely and competitively. Last but not least, his advice to his younger self: “Focus on your network, always be listening and learning, and don’t come with the answers; come with the questions.”
